Anyone working in the security sector must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA). The licence requirement is set out by the SIA and the two mandatory units covered are: The Role and Responsibilities of Security Officers and Communication and Conflict Management.

Blue 9 Security Ltd. currently holds SIA Approved Contactor Scheme (ACS) for the provision of Security Guarding and Key Holding.
